Chelsea new Boss Maurizio Makes His First Signing, Brings In Jorginho In A £57m Deal

Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri who was unveiled today, has made his first signing by bringing in Jorginho from his former club Napoli in a £57million deal.

The 26-year-old Brazil-born Italy international was unveiled today just after his former manager was confirmed as the coach of the London club. The midfielder has been handed the No. 5 shirt at Stamford Bridge and agreed to a five-year contract that will see him pocket £102,000-a-week till 2023.

In a statement, he said: 'I am absolutely ecstatic to be here at Chelsea. It is not easy to become part of such a big team so I am very, very happy.

'I am excited to play in such an intense league, for a team that gives everything to play and win.'
